TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Pricing We do our best to keep prices low. If we are higher than a competitor, let us know and we'll see if we can match their pricing. The above list will give you an idea of our 2016 pricing. However, we like to have a look at your lawn before making any final pricing arrangements. Also, these prices are for regularly maintained lawns. We'll probably have to ask for a higher price if the lawn is allowed to get tall. Billing Bi-Weekly Billing: We send you an invoice Bi-weekly, for all of the work completed in that period. All of the work that was completed, as well as the date it was completed, and price for each service are detailed on your invoice. We ask that you pay the invoice upon receipt, but it's not late until 7 days. We will not service any late accounts. Service Charge $26 is always our minimum charge for traveling to a property and performing any work. Returned checks will incur a $30 fee and future payments by check will not be allowed. Customer Satisfaction Customer satisfaction is a top priority for SYRACUSE FIELD & GARDEN LLC. We are constantly going the extra mile for every one of our customers. When you sign up for service expect to be well taken care of! If for any reason you are not satisfied with your service, please contact us within 24 hours. We cannot issue refunds for the service, but we will ensure your service is up to your standards. Complaints – Our goal is total customer satisfaction! If our work is not satisfactory, or you think we did not service your yard, we do not give credits. However, we want to be fair. If needed, we will mow your yard again without additional charge. Your notification of unsatisfactory service must be received within 24-hours of the service. If you do not notify us within 24-hours of the service, we will consider the work satisfactory for the scheduled service. Contracts We do not require that you sign a contract when you sign up for service. Our service is ongoing from week to week and season to season until you cancel. You may cancel service, with no added charges, at any time after your 4th mowing. If service is cancelled before the 4th mowing, weekly or biweekly, a service charge of $50.00 will be charged to your account. Cancelation of service must be done at least 48 hours before your next scheduled service day. Damaged Property On your scheduled day of service we ask that you make sure your lawn is free of toys, hoses, and other items that may be damaged during service. Please contact us immediately if there is any property that is damaged by our team. The most common damage is a sprinkler head, drain cap, or valve cover. Upon your notification, we will repair the damage in a timely manner. We will not honor any request for repair expenses for damaged property that we were not made aware of or allowed to repair in a timely manner. If we are unable to repair the damage, we will hire a qualified person to make the repairs. Pets We love dogs and other pets, but for the safety of our staff and your pet, make sure your pet is restrained on your day of service. We also ask that your lawn is free of excessive pet droppings. In severe cases the property will be skipped. Gates We understand locking your gates, but on your scheduled day of service we must have access to your property. If you choose to use a lock, please use a combination style lock and provide us with the combination. We can assure that your gate will be locked before we leave your property. |
Lawn Maintenance Season
At SYRACUSE FIELD & GARDEN we ensure your property always looks its best. Here is our recommended yearly service schedule: First Thaw March - Clean Up Late March – First Cut/(Weekly) Cut April – November – Weekly Cut (Aug) Sept – Dec - Clean Ups (As Needed) We will follow the recommended service schedule unless instructed otherwise. We do offer fertilizer and hedge trimming applications at an additional cost. Service Includes Mowing with a mulching mower; Trimming grass around obstacles with a string trimmer; Blowing off all grass clippings; Closing all gates before leaving your property. If your property is in extremely poor shape you will be charged double for the initial clean up service (this is a one time fee for severely neglected properties). - Edging and hedge trimming are available for an additional fee. Service Day We assign one day a week for your service and once that day is assigned, your service day will not likely change for the service season. Service will be completed between 7 am and 7 pm on that day. Unfortunately, we cannot adhere to a more specific time frame. Skipping Service Customers may skip their normally scheduled service at any time, with at least 48 hours notice. There is a maximum of 2 skipped mowings a year. Rain In case of heavy rain your service day will be re-assigned to the next available day. We will mow on days of moderate rain, always taking into consideration any drainage problems your property may have before we begin. Sprinkler Systems Your irrigation system must be set to off on the day of your scheduled service. Additionally, we also ask that you do not run your system the night before your service day as this increases the chance of damage to your lawn. Excessively wet lawns will not be serviced, due to the risk of damage. Leaf Clean-Up During the fall, heavy leaves are a problem on some properties and can more than double the time we spend during each service. As a result, if your property is heavily wooded your weekly or bi-weekly mowing cost will reflect a clean up fee during late August to late November. Service Issues – Bi-weekly services are offered but strongly discouraged. Many conditions will affect your yard growth (watering, fertilization, etc). Industry accepted mowing standards, which we adhere to, recommend only cutting 1/3 of the grass height each mowing. Bi-weekly service inherently causes such problems as clumps of grass or grass appearing to be cut unevenly. If these results happen, we will not be able to send crews back to correct these issues or guarantee these services, as we do on weekly services. An additional fee may be charged if more time is needed to mow and clean up. Trampolines – If you have a trampoline, our team will mow around and under it as much as possible.
